INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION AT HEMA SCHOOL
It
was a red letter day in the history of India when our country got freedom from
the long years of slavery. It was a moment of pride as we were celebrating our
72nd Independence day.
Our
school also celebrated this festival with utmost patriotism and joy and was
also a day of remembrance of all those who sacrified their life.
The
function started with unfurling of National flag by Shri A. Sashi Kumar, Vice-President.
This was followed by national anthem march past showcasing the importance of
coordination for the nation’s development.
Mesmerizing
cultural pragrammes garnered patriotism in the minds of all those who graced
the occasion.
The
Principal in her address advised the students to become ideal citizens and to
follow the duties enshrined in the Indian constitution. Other speakers on this
event asked the students to always work tirelessly for the progress of the
nation.
The
programme came to an end with the proposing of vote of thanks followed by Sweet
distribution. |
